PETITION TO BAN DECAHWN
PETITION TO BAN DECAHWN
Everybody who's been here for at least a week knows DECAHWN, also known as ZACH-1034 OF SR and What_u_lokkin_at.
He ruins the game for others on purpose.
Over the past weeks/months, he has violated lots of rules, and we've all grown tired of him.
DECAHWN should be banned.
I know I'm not the only one who thinks this.
Everybody, if you agree to this, please sign.

so, why do you want him to stay?
who cares if he's not as big a jerk as people in the hundreds of completely unmoderated yahoo areas, this isn't a yahoo game, this is a moderated internet game that depends on its players. he makes this game a horrible place by driving away many players, and yet, you think he should stay? are you teamed up with him in trying to bring down the game or something? because, i can't possibly see any other reason somebody would support them.
don't say you like him just because he was nice to you a few times and you don't care about his attitude towards anybody else or the game in general. if thats the case, then geeze, i'll be sure to never come to your aid anytime, or offer help if your being bothered by a player on a world or forums.
or, do you actually want to see the game to completely die?
wouldn't you have more fun pirating if there were hundreds of WEALTHY players to attack?

I must support the ban,I tried to give him several chances to prove he wasn't a complete jerk,but.............
He did add a little bit of drama to the game when everyone was to afraid to fight in space, but his more recent actions(harassing newbs and threatening to make them have to reset)and his derogatory diatribe, and insults got really old quick. He seems to thrive on acting out for attention, and he seemed to be actively trying to ruin the game recently.I'm glad he's gone.

The Universal Code of Conduct
This document was last updated: August 2004
The Universal Code of Conduct outlines the rules that you need to follow to ensure that the game is fun for everyone.
Overview
The Universal is a vast and open online experience, and as such you may at times see inappropriate use from other players. If you are unwilling to accept that risk then you should not participate.
In the game you will meet players of all ages, abilities and experience. Your patience is appreciated when playing, challenging or communicating with other players.
What you can't do.
* Dont use The Universal to do anything illegal. The Universal team is not responsible for anything you say on the service or for anything that happens because of what you say; you alone are responsible.
* Dont harass, abuse, threaten, shout at, stalk or spam other players.
* Dont swear.
* Dont distribute, post, or discuss obscene or other unlawful materials like child pumpkin or illegal drugs.
* Dont give out information that personally identifies you such as your real name, address, phone number, credit card number, etc. while you're playing. This information could be used by other players for illegal or harmful purposes. Don’t give out the personal information of other players.
* Dont create a nickname with any profanity, semiologically explicit language, sexual innuendo, or racial, ethnic, or religious slurs in it.
* Dont create a name that references controversial religious topics, notorious people, organizations, or sensitive current or historical events that may also be considered inappropriate.
* Dont cheat in a game.
If you violate the Code of Conduct, action may be taken against your account. For example, if you create an inappropriate nickname you may be required to change it. If you use an inappropriate nickname you may be temporarily locked out of your account. If we are notified that you have posted inappropriate content of any kind, it may be removed. Depending on the severity of the offense, you may even have your account terminated and/or be reported to the relevant authorities. The Universal team is not obliged to send you a warning before these actions occur. If you are banned while participating in a tournament or competition The Universal team assumes no liability in the loss of any potential prizes or recognition related to the tournament or competition.
How can you avoid getting into trouble?
That’s easy. Just follow the rules.
What you can do:
* Take a break or mute a player (type .ignore [playername]) who makes you angry. If you take action it could be considered harassment.
* Send negative feedback on problem players. abuse@theuniversal.net
* If you're a parent/guardian with concerns related to the game, you can notify The Universal team using the same abuse email address.
Be sure to re-read this document once in a while to stay up-to-date with the Code of Conduct. Some games and events may also have additional guidelines that govern your use: be sure to review them as well.
if he screws up report him, more proof means gone faster

lol matt, you've really missed out on a lot of the stuff involving deca
he broke half those rules, the chat server logs were proof of his constant rudeness and vulgarity, fooli talked with him about his actions several times. yet he never stopped. he was constantly trying to get players to goto other games, constantly being insanely arrogant and rude towards other players, and constantly insulting others. he's pretty much a copy of 10dollars. he was banned from most worlds months ago due to his constant actions driving away the players of the worlds.
sad thing is that fooli only decided to ban him because he was tired of the players complaining to him several times a week every week. not because of his actual actions.
