The Little Tractor That Could!

Post by Lugie »

When I first got behind the wheel of my first tractor over six years ago, my life was forever changed.

Here I was, in this "Muridae", a world so green, with such promise. I wanted to exploit its weak, simple economy.
I was determined. Off in the distance I saw it - the petrol station. After figuring out the keyboard configuration, I immediately bought it. My legacy was carved in stone.

It wasn't minutes when another tractor snuck up on me. He slung a firework from his window. After buying my stock of goods, this "Mit" fellow let it be known his role in the game.

He was so friendly - quite unlike other developers of his skill. In fact, he came off more as a drunken buffoon than a crazed coder on a mission.

After chatting with Mit for a couple hours, I understood this mission. It was moments like these that changed my life forever.

The point is not to live a life of nine-to-five sobriety. Life is about creating something revolutionary, perhaps with the encouragement of whiskey.

As Kevin Spacey said in the movie Se7en:
Wanting people to listen, you can't just tap them on the shoulder anymore. You have to hit them with a sledge hammer!
A Tractor's concept - now known as "The Universal" is a unique and refreshing direct-hit to the face. This project certainly has made history. If not on the global spectrum, The Universal will forever live on in the minds of gamers like me. As long as I have $10 to donate to the whiskey fund, The Universal will continue forth. We will, as belligerently as is necessary, continue to slur our message to the gaming world!

Monkeys!

It truly puts a smile on this gamer's face to see the old tractor is still running.

Cheers,
Your old friend, Lugie

I have to say, I had a similar pleasant experience with Mit. He gave me career advice too!

P.S: I got to grips with polymorphism. ;)
