Modeling.

Post by Jayecifer »

So I've modeled a tree in Gmax :D and saved the gmax file. What is the next step? I tried opening it in the model converter and it said it was not supported... How do I get it into a format that is supported? I sound like a complete and total newblette and that mostly because... I am. You are shocked? Yes, I thought so. Que the advice!

i think for gmax you need to get the 3ds max plugin from the gmax website before you can export in 3ds format

an alternative would be to save in .x format if you can

Gmax has native support for .3ds, you shouldn't need a plugin...
