Problem with finite improbability drive

My finite improbability drive does not seem to be working when other peoples seems to be. Whenever I log on and attempt to use it I just get a message stating 'Waiting for server list update'.

This never goes away and has made it near impossible for me to trade. Can anyone offer some assistance or a solution?

I do not know why this isnt working, but it should. There has been some problems with the galatic server, it may be linked to that somehow

Check your internet conection, if it is too slow, it might not load.
