a fightnight idea

i was sitting on junkyard earlier and had an idea for a fightnight. what if players who have a bounty of 10,000 credits or more agree to become targets in a fightnight open to any player who has any ship not yet in a police fighter or more expensive ship. the players with bounties get shields and can reload missiles and counters, so that the players trying to kill them will have to actually work a little bit to earn all those credits, and once MIT reimplements the guardian powers, the guardian can make sure the event goes off without a hitch. i think this kind of event would draw a lot of interest from some of the new players while allowing the veteran players with a bounty to play in a fightnight where they wont be the ones hunting everyone. and if mit is feeling rather generous he could maybe spice it up by offering prizes too.

thats sort of the way it goes but you just kill them for cargo and what if they dont havew a bounty

if a player doesnt have a bounty, he wouldnt be a target for the players hunting.

then he could be one of the players trying to kill the bounties

Are you saying only the people with bounty can go to the station?

no hes saying that veteran players should have a bounty to participate in the fight night. although i believe that you should do it the way im used to and the bounty depending on how much they have. for example if you have a bounty of 600,000 thats enough for the fightnight kills. and if you had like a 50 cred bounty you should go and get some cargo for the new ppl
