Weapons in starting sectors should be banned.

Becuse EVEN WITH SHIELDS you run across the people who peg you with lasers, see the shield bubble, and start following. Why? Just to keep you in red alert and laugh at your frustration as you cant use iondrive, or any of the other drives.
Not only is this just annoying, encountering these guys between stations increases your ETA from 5 min to 20 min.

just ignore them and dont say a thing and act as if nothing happened but dont go to a station or quit as you will lose your stuff

You will not lose your cargo if you land at a station. I do agree that a tempory weapons ban in the starting systems would be nice.

Just keep moving your ship up, down and around. Roll, turn, keep moving. They may get tried and leave you alone.

It used to be that way and Everybody hid out in Federation space and "pirates" couldn't make a profit.

yeah but all the sucky trades r in cirrus minor and tau ceti where no profit can be made
