What Modler for free can i use

Well the topic did all i was going to ask what modler can i use for free that will be able to be a building in the Game?

any modeller that can export in .x or .3ds format can be used.

personally, i use anim8or
others that people use include gmax and bluewand

I have used anim8or is there some specil way to use it?

its a pretty easy program to get used to just read the manual/tutorials and you should pick it up easy

Anim8tor is probably the easiest of the free modelling programs to use. I recommend doing some of the tutorials first. Should come quite easy after completeing some of those.

When i try the modle converter. It crashes, but also when i pull up the modle converter it saiy a large amout of errs. But it still pulls up the 3d screen and the side panel. I save the anim8tor as is file is that right?

Try Wings 3d - http://www.wings3d.com/ its easy and you can make simple models.

I would only recommend Blender if you have buckets of time and patience. It would also be helpful if you knew Python (because that's what Blender's written in) and had some experience piloting commercial aircraft (because the complexity of the controls is about the same). Gmax I have found to be incredibly easy yet powerful, and Anim8or is also quite easy and powerful. Gmax, however, requires a plug-in for .3DS exportation which no commoner knows how to find. Whether or not our brilliant monkeys in charge of the game know where the plug-in is is a different matter. Milkshape is slightly easier than Gmax, but if you want to use it for more than 30 days, it costs money.
