as much as i love letting the little cheaters and scammers play on zion (they usually don't make it as far as other worlds) i gotta make an exception for one of them. his name is steef and he pretty mcuh spends most of his time trying to scam anybody and everybody he sees.

stuff that he does:
1. go upto a random person and give them something and then demand money (or vice versa) - he gave dakynos a helicopter then an hour later was telling daky to give him 1200s for it.
2: demands money for doing random things - he once told me that if he blew me up in crow i HAD to give him 3000s
3: tell people to buy buildings at high prices - he was trying to get somebody to buy (i mean actually telling people to) an empty plane fac for 1500s when it only costs 80s to build.
4: tries to get people to invest lots in buildings before selling them - i was selling a carbon fibre fac for 100s today, he told me to invest 500s and he would buy it, i upped the sale price to 600s, and invested 500s, being unsucessful at tricking me into selling a 100s building with 500s in it, he told me to invest 1200s, i upped the sale price to 1300s and invested 1200s, once again being unsuccessful at tricking me into selling at building for much less then the investment, he tried yet again, and again. he was pretty mcuh TRYING to scam me.
5: he acts like people HAVE to do what he tells them to do - he'll spam the chat ordering them to do something and threatening to have matt kick them if they don't
6: he refuses to listen to anybody - somebody today said they had to go away for a half an hour to eat. steef told them, 'no, only 20 seconds'. the guy left, and after steef counted the secs in the chat, started spamming for the guy. completly ignoring the fact that the guy said he was going away.
7: up the price of stuff right when somebody is going to buy - was gonna buy some carbon fibre from him and he increased the price at the last min, luckily i noticed and didn't buy it.
8: tries to get peopole to buy items at high prices - pretty much the same as 3, but with items. he was telling people to buy a heli for 1000s from his plane fac.

now...sure all us who know how to play can easily avoid his scams and ignore him. but what about any other new players? zion is a new player teaching ground, and most new players wont know how to ignore steef, nor will they be able to avoid his scams. its starting to become a pain to sit on zion and prevent him from ripping people off by telling his nearly victoms the actual costs of things.

on a side note....as payback for #4 above, i did rip him off in return. he stated that i had to give him 300 wood for 40s, he gave me the 40s and i gave him 150 wood. a bit later i did it again, but only gave 50 wood for the 40s. he ended up giving back 40 wood and demanding his money back. mit/fooli, if either of you feel i was wrong to rip him off after he tried to scam me, i'll give him back the 80s.

yea lastnight the same player asked me if i was new and tried to sell me one of his steel mills for 1300s after that he asked me to load him 1000s he said he would give me 1200s back ive seen the prices on all of his items in every building if your new to zion

Yeah the heli thing made me flame. It is abnormal. I bought one from you at 500s I think but he sells everything for the doble or triple or more! I certainly don't trust him he also asked me to buy a building for an incredebly high price, I tjink you were present zar, especially his plane shop, he said he would sell it for 500s but the sell price was at 1000s. The 500s for already high. Also once I was warning another player about him and he started to offend me saying words like phony you and all that crap. You should also watch out for his brother, I don't remember his username but looks the are on the same roll.

utterly and totally agreed ... i think hes one of the ones ppl who sell iron ore for 1S abusing the fact ppl are used to the 1D thing and tend not to notice

bbee is his name. he's another trouble maker. first time he came on he started cursing at me for no reason. saying stuff like 'f*** your mother' etc.

just now steef was calling me a lier and telling me to shut up when i pointed out to a new player that he was 'teaching' (more like taking advantage of to do and build things for him) that he could make more money selling to other buildings.

Yea, that's his attitude normally if he can't scam someone or as got something against them. I've heard quite a few bad comments about this guy every week from someone. And lightmun, also he may be a good kid, his still misbehaving. If we let him get away with this, your basically acting like the UK Government is;

"Submarines are to be grounded because they could damage fishing boats" - Health and Safety

"If children are hit, they get scared mentally for life" - About not been able to put a kid in the right when they are misbehaving.

BTW: I don't mean to offend by that, it's just something i see often in Britain.

lol...lines like that about child care always crack me up.

at least 90% of the people who try to control how others treat there kids OBVIOUSLY don't have kids. and if they do have kids, they aren' tkids who have add, adhd, or are otherwise hyperactive or extremely disobedient.

I admit, i don't. But i'd still use that to put the kid in line, we've been doing a bit in Psychology about that. Children are unable to apparently think of what others want and feel until they are around the age of 8 - 12 years. If you don't show them whats right and what is wrong, they will go ahead and do the things they shouldn't.

hang on dats strange.. cos i jus started yesterday im getting to know the game and stuff and the first place i go to is zion and his the first person who helped me well all he did was teach me how to get grades gave me a free tractor taught me how to build stuff etc.. but den he gave me 542s no jokes :S and full package of fuel.. but he did ask for it back and demanded if i got a job and earned more money to pay him double i said no.. and he starts swearing and going mad.. so i jus ignored him lol ty for free cash steef

oh ya his a big scammer really >_<

i bet he was also calling you his friend right?

i figure thats how he takes advantage of new players. he'll give them something to make them like him, then get them to help him at there loss. few days ago i was reading the chat and he paid a new player 12s to leave a 8d job and work at his fac for 5d. also made the guy promise to never leave it. that 5d job and 12s is only makes the same money as an 8d job makes in 3 hours and 20 mins. so it would be a big loss to the new player.
