Description:
it seems an animation will restart if you log out and back in again.

posting this because of the growing tree model aswell.
can't have trees getting young again everytime somebody relogs :P

thats not going to change in the near future.. anim state is a dynamic clientside thing and having the states stored and replicated on the server isnt practical. trees that grow is a nice idea, and one that i would like to look at implementing as a speciifc client-feature, but doing it with the existing tech isnt gonna happen, sorry.

was also thinking of incorperating a building decay idea into it.

if you have a world with unrepairable buildings, if you time it correctly with the damage gain, you could have buildings that visually decay over time until they collapse by useing slow animations.

yea, too bad feature requests is currently closed :P

when open again, i plan to post a request to allow the animation time to be longer so that the visual building decay would be more possible. kinda useless though if animations reset on relog :P

Or you could have something like a certain animation playing when the building is below 50%, and another animation when the building is 25%...or just an entirely different model...etc.
