New Arcade game

Post by Magicfinger »

New Arcade game will be in the next release... Uniword (im open to better suggestions) based on the principles of WordUP, thanks to mit sucessfully getting me hooked on the game, i will also look at generating some kind of high score thingy from it at some point for some healthy competition it really starts to get tricky at level 6 :)

anyway letters = points
points required to move to next level
inbuilt dictionary of 162,000 words :)

anyway lil teaser screenshot...

Oi! Get out of my mind Paint :P

Indeed, Sudoku would be a good addition to arcade games.

oh ya funky lil devil you :].
(tho is it ok to be a lil worried about the size of that dictionary file and its impact on the installer? ;] )

you do realise the effect this will have.. anytime i get at the puter used to be 1) pansy around for a bit, 2) do some coding. Now its gonna be 1) pansy around for a bit 2) play word up.

You could have the dictionary downloadable as a seperate file, and have the game check if you have the file and use a smaller dictionary instead if you don't have the downloadable one.
