Post by Lord_Ephialtes »

Please just let me download it. Its so boring not being able to use it. Especially because it doesnt have the option to connect to a proxy server!!! Please release it, I signed up for beta testing and i didnt get it sent to me. How does that work? I have surpressed a major moan...

er, u haven't supressed it have you.
im not sure if mits even releaseing demo islands.
loads of people signed up to beta-testers list and they didn't get called up, don't see them moaning do you?
you don't even play this game recently so why are you so eager to get the latest update?
i think mits chooseing testers differantly from last time, and not so much by the testers list, but im not sure, you'd really have to ask him why your not testing, probably cause not many people are, and if he were to release it to more players then he would probably choose more frequent players, you know the ones that actually play the game

i really think you need to realise that, the new version isn't ready yet! so thats why it hasn't been released.
theres still alot of bugs, most arn't to serious but mit wants to get as much done as possible.
i'm sure mit will release the new version when hes good and ready, not when hes told to by YOU

I can remember you saying that you have a copies as far back as 0.0000093 sitting around, so I'm interested to set up a 'retro tractor' so see if we can bring the oldies back :)

...
I would play more often its just the problem that i go to boarding school! I am sure mit has set up the features to play through proxy in this next version? And even to play offline. Then i could spend the week making really good islands, then set them up over the weekend?
