Eventia

Post by karumpa »

Hello there, its karumpa, you either dont know me or havent heard from me in a long while.
I belong to a gaming community and I showed this game to some of my buddies over there and we are interested in running our own world.

What kind of planet will Eventia be?
Eventia will be an economic planet with battle/fighting zones, along with racing.

Why would we even create this world?
It seems to me, the player population in this game is slowly dying down and the creation of this world would boost the game with the addition of gamers. We tried getting our own world but it was too difficult for all our friends to reach the outer worlds where our world would be. My friends mostly want the "a-tractor" type play of earlier and they arent really enthused about the space trade stuff.

Anyways, post comments, suggestions etc...
if you want to email me its dorealex@hotmail.com

How do you think a new world would make more people come in?

I doubt the population of this game is dying.

I've seen a jump in population the past 3 weeks if anything but anyways....Nice to hear of a new planet. I might have Mojave open for beta testing sometime soon too but i'm sorry to say I seriously doubt its good enough to raise the population. :)

hey karumpa.. do you have a host machine available for the world?
Key to any decent one (particularly an a-tractor-stylee econ setup) is having a reliable 24/7 server around, maintained by someone who doesnt mind using a bit of their time & bandwidth to keep it active.

We do have plans to create a new 'traditional' econ soon, which matthew has volunteered to host (see other thread) ..

Hello, Im the owner of the community Karumpa mentioned earlier.

Yes, we do have a dedicated machine that is hosted in Dallas, Tx by a major server rental company, and it will be up 24/7.

Chances are, the players would come from our gaming community.
