Don't download programs from Limewire! most of the things you download from limewire contain trojans and virus...I'm so glad I have McAfee programs that protects me from virus and trojans.

Limewire never got me viruses, trojans or spyware...I don't use it often, though.

It does always run out of sources when you're at 75% though.

depending on what you download and how careful you are, you can get a virus from any filesharing program or none at all from any.

i never got a virus or trojen from kazaa, napster, or e-mule (whilch i currently use).
its somewhat easy to not get a virus. if your looking for a program and the file sharing thing finds lots of matches and thiers 1 or two that are much, much smaller then the others, its probably a fake. if you look at a persons shared files (for those utilities that allow it) and theyre sharing tons of stuff thats exactly the same size, they are proberly fakes.

i had a friend who downloaded something off kazaa named (something)-installer.exe and got a worm. i looked up the guys share list and he had well over 100 different (program name)-installer.exe files shared. all of them were only 6.99kb. obvious fakes. how could only one person have a magical 'installer' for a game that typically took a 650mb cd. heck, i've even seen people sharing 'games' that weren't even out yet :P

other things to look out for are things that normally take multiple cds. if you search for a game, and thiers lots of files listed that have multiple cd's the one that only needs 1 cd is probably a fake, or the only one that for some reason needs 4 or 5cds when the game only needs 1 or 2.

same with movies or music. the one thats extremly small is possibly a fake. most movies are 600-800mb. if somebody is sharing a movie (like Harry Potter and the Sorcers Stone) and its only 200mb, its probably a fake.

if thiers a movie that just came out in theaters, anybody sharing a 'dvd rip' of that movie is obviously sharing a fake. how can thier be a dvd rip of something not even on dvd yet?

you used to be able to go to china and get the movie before it arrived at stores in the USA...But the USA got that setting change so it would be released at the same time everywhere...

No that anyone on the forums or in anyway associated with the game would advocate (or suggest) the breach of international copyright laws......
