little ideas what too do with interface files

with my little knowledge of programing i think i sorta know woot too do, i have too use the include interface.h too script files with or sumtin right :P ? but i cant seem too get the sample file too compile :oops: :?

Sorry KJ, i wish i could help ya. But i am less of a programmer than you so i wouldn't wanna give you some useless advice you would already know. :wink:

Whole new bunch of interface, arcade (and eventually) 3d model libraries and source code are on their way. Will post more here soon as i get chance to get em all in a working state.

i am a bit more interrested in 2D stuff always loved 2D stuff :P 2D 1/2 is good too ;)

Knox,

In the way of programming, the thing that Mit had me doing first was an Invadsers game.. the one in the bar right now.

I suggest you start off with that kinda stuff, and make simple games.. helps :)

I don't think Mit's done the 3D libs just yet, so we'll have to stick with 2D for the moment anyway. :roll:

Anyways, Invaders is a good place to start. To quote Mit from ages ago, It's what they suually do when you join a game company, make sure you can do it :)

i got directX 9 sdk files and Visual C++ 6.0 and i actualy got the interface too compile (yey) maby now ill be able too learn how too do something with it ;p

p.s (i cant seem too get font1.bmp too load on sample :o)

you need to make a data folder where your exe is, then a textures one, and then put the two BMPs in with the sample in there.

Or, move the exe to the location of your Data folder :)
