I've just discovered a bug related to connecting unregistered worlds to the old galaxy server - I presume you had tried to use your own world?

The galaxy server willl be updated shortly and your login details reset, so you should be able to login normally.

If anyone else is having the same problem, please post your username and we'll reset the login details.

I don't know if this is the same issue or not but I am also no longer able to connect. I could connect just fine last night now I am getting a login failed screen.

Code: Select all

A different username was already registered from this computer + your password was incorrect. You may change the username (if necessary) but you must enter the correct password to login.
For the username it automaticlly put in 'u' but my username is 'hannerii' I apologize if I should not have posted in this thread.

Did you use the same password you put in originally?

Unfortunately the planets are separate servers so it'll need the world's owner to reset your password there if it has changed. (zar, could you do that please?). Its currently impossible to reset all accounts on all servers.

Its not to do with the new world server, zar - it was an ood galaxy server to blame. It would have affected anyone who ran an unregistered world before the gal was updated. I've fixed most/all of the problems caused by this now.
Far as im aware there shouldnt be any issues with the latest world server. (But feel free to prove me wrong).

well ok, if you really want me too :P

just downloaded the 48.0 server patch and upgraded zoric and others to 48.0 server. tried to start zoric and it just sits at the Initialising picture. it flashes an error, but it sits behind the picture so i can't read it. only way to close the server is to go into task manager and terminate its process which is useing 99% of the cpu. sabrada had the same issue.

tried rebooting but it did nothing

Your in-game account is totally separate from the forum one, tho using the same name is recommended if possible.
A password error might mean that someone else has already used the name you're trying to use in game, so you might need to choose an alternative (or add numbers to the end or something perhaps).
If you still have problems, please let me know the *exact* message displayed when the login fails and i'll check into it further.
