Announcements..

In case you weren't aware.. theres a 'universal' chat announcement system available to the gal staff to send a msg to everyone currently connected to the galaxy.

If at any time you have a particular announcement that you'd like to make (world is back up, an event or competition is happening, etc etc) feel free to ask one of the gal staff (me,fooli,hedgehog,magicfinger,device) to announce it for you.. as long as its not too frequent or superfluous a request im sure one of em will be happy to oblige.

Bump..

On similar lines.. we've changed the news script post stuff with the aim of having more 'community news' separate from the 'Official Announcements'. If you'd like to promote your world (or just give us an update, or background storyline or whatever) on the website, please use the Submit News button on the front page.

sounds nice.
but i can imagine that during the first week of free worlds thier will be 20 news postings about unregistered worlds opening up :P

now all we need is a way to page the gal staf to come on so they can do the announcement if its a time sensitive one :P

The news submission stuff is edited. Startup announcements arent considered news.
now all we need is a way to page the gal staf to come on so they can do the announcement if its a time sensitive one
Its called email.
