I think it'd kind of be unfair for the people out there who wish to have a world, but arn't the best 'masters' of gameplay for there to be anything but a one time fee of like 50-100$. :/ but thats just my opinion because I want to have a world in the future.

well...if you made tons of models for different 'ruins' and whatever else would be taking up the world, then you could cover any uncleared land with them. useing collisions, they could stop people from going past them.

to simulate the clearing and gradual opening of more land, you could have the models set to decay at different rates useing thier automatic repair option in the buildings editor. then after x years, a clump could disseapear over here, then after another few years, a clump over thier, until the world is cleared.

downside of this is that it might take alot of work since you will have to make/find, build, and setup all the buildings. useing the buildings to take up space so players can't build if they get past them could use hundreds or thousands of buildings. but, thiers no reason you coulden't use the same building design more then once. or even only one design in a clump of buildings that needs to vanish at the same time.

might not work fully, might cause lag, will take a long time to set up and probably has opther bugs i haven't thought of yet, but it'd look very realistic.

a different method could be to just make the default texture impassible to ground vehicles and have towns lay down a different texture under them.

or manually paint the land with an impassible texture and gradually remove it.

Thats what I was thinking but if we could the other way it would be cool. Once they get worlds out ill get a private one and work on it.

It will probably be a while before they come out with that.
