Whats going on w/ Zoric? is it dying or what? There's no place to buy drinks and the govt supply store doesn't stock them, I'm down to only a few, I bought a smoothie shop thinking I could make them, but now I can't find the fruit, what gives?

Zoric moved out of Cirrus Minor and most newbs (I'm assuming) don't know how to use the fipro drive so they can't reach zoric.

Seems like everything is falling. Just like sabrada when there was no wood...

if zoric is moved back, then sabrada will (probably) have to be moved out.

its kinda an issue with having to depend to much on one person. since i host sabrada, zoric, and other worlds, their would be an issue with downtime with multiple worlds in the starting system.

saw this once already in the past. i hosted the only 8 worlds that ran 24/7 and the power supply went out on the server. the game was pretty much completly unplayable for a week.

its quite bad when a new player comes in and sees half or more of the system thier starting in is offline.

mit really likes my idea for next zoric though, so zoric 12 might be back in cirrus minor.

Zoric isnt even a Newbie planet, its a Intermediate planet, so therefor you guys need to figure soemthing out, there is always a way through a problem. Me and Seer rocked Zoric 10, and picked up the planet when it was dieing.

This is bad, does any one make it out to Zoric then? If I am the only one I'll be dead in less then a week, which is sad, being the last man alive

If it'd help you could give me one of "your" worlds to host (Sabrada...).

Mechzone is hardly using 1% of my server cpu and bandwidth

i actually have little problem as to where they all are.

if you wanna host sabrada for jem thats ok with me too. but you can be hard to find at times (like when you go running off to that other game to code for months at at a time

)and that could make it hard to work on the server.

as dor the kicking...thats...supposed to happen

its a...ummm....bandwidth conserving process...yea, thats it. it kicks everybody to make sure thiers no afk players

this also heklps stop cheating.

If I start hosting it, I'll be responsive about it, even if I'm not in the universal playing mood at the mo.
You haven't really tried to "find" me at those times, ain't you ?

If Jem's ok about switching sabrada hosting to me, I'll be glad doing it. I need an economy based island to further verify my unix port works fine (till now nothing was found broken, I think it should'nt be a nuisance for the server onliness).
Did you arrange any special access for Jemrada so he can work on the world files at your server zar ?

When are you planning to move on with zoric 12?

the bdat is already done and have just been slowly working on models for zoric and ciroz.

What of the current Zoric?

I've found a fruit stand stocked somewhat, i won't die, atleast not yet, but i can not find fruit so when it runs out, I'm toast.

I also have about 16,000s

Oh, Zar, didn't understand you were now assuming Sabrada ownership to replace Jem.
So I now get why you're not keen on making it hosted somewhere else

Do you host any other (economic) world that you're not "owner" of ?

not currently.

me moving it over to you still isen't too much trouble though.
i still look at it as jemrada's world with me being just the caretaker while he's away.

was thinking if you could set up ftp access or whatever, then i could just give the account info to jem so he could also use it when he comes around.

keep meaning to e-mail you aboyut it, will send an e-mail this afternoon.
