X-11 went down mainly because Djfire knew that having two clones of the same world was pointless and would certainly doom both worlds to failure because they would cannabalize each other's popularity (although if puggy doesn't show his face a little more around zyrane, I may try to get Dj to restart his efforts with my support). And why are you trying to kill my dream of a resurected reina Minku, ? All your posts are so negative. Did you not enjoy the old reina roja? I always enjoyed the competition between our teams...theres nothing like planning a strategy to retake a captured building (sighs contently). Although I admit Gk could take the competition to an unsportsman-like extreme. But luckily he's tied up with his own world and probably won't we a real threat in future.
Back to the employement thing: the buildings I'm working at are owned both by the government and by other players (namely theseer). His buildings have plenty of investment (each one has atleast 1000s); I know because almost the entire investiment came from me either through investing or from buying the items they produce.
And a further thing to add to the to-fix list: One of the arctic treefarms is not set to buy and sell which slows the lumber making process.
If anyone on a team other than polar cliffs (3) knows of any error reguarding their respective buildings that I haven't already posted please let us know.

indeed it is! commands are here:
http://theuniversal.net/squish/index.ph ... tus=3&T=kb
listed by rank, purpose and command type.
you'd wand the third entry down, command by auth level:
http://theuniversal.net/squish/fullview.php?bug=632
(incidently yeah, it took a day to format all that, thanks for asking )

I guess a sysop can only make so many changes to the *settings menu...so unfortunatly a number of stuff that I could fix withn five minutes I won't be able to fix on it...or maybe it screwed up but I think the first is right.
Also I'm sorry if I screwed up anyone's character or buildings while I was messing around...I think I completely cleaned up the one major mistake I made [ hehe destroyed every building on the entire planet ]...kinda new at this so I'm trying my best.

Well the important part of it is that I fixed it and no real damage was done and no person was on the world when I did it so no one would have known about it had I not mentioned it.
As for the game settings...I try to change stuff like umm max buildings own but everytime I set it to twelve and confirm settings and it does it's little loady thing, I go back and check it and it still says 6. It also does similar stuff with item count for product decay. Although I did manage to fix the length of day and the number of years till you lose your jobs and your buildings go up for sale, just fine.

heh, even a "harmless" setting like max buildings can make the difference between one guy gettin a total monopoly on the whole planet, and a reasonably balanced bit of gameplay. i can't think of a situation where changin that wouldn't be towards one person's advantage over another. it's none of my business really; it's not my world and i'm not the OPfhko wrote:Well the important part of it is that I fixed it and no real damage was done and no person was on the world when I did it so no one would have known about it had I not mentioned it.

You make it sound as though I'm trying to exploit my powers and make a monopoly...your the one who originally had max buildings set at twelve I'm just trying to restore that setting. So far I've only used my powers to more or less complete as much as I could do of the misnamings list and restore normal passage of time settings. I might of also turned off building decay (I can't remember theres just too many settings) although it had little effect anyway most buildings never got over 2% damage even after the hundred some years that had passed on the original Reina Roja and no repairs.
I still need someone who has some idea as to how the more complex setting stuff works to help me out. I kinda wonder why puggy never made you a Sysop Hedge.

I have good news: (and no I did not save a bunch of money on my car insurance by swiching to Geico)
I figured out that when you changed some of the settings and then confirmed it, the game for some reason actually set the setting below it to whatever value you specifiied...so in order to work around this all you must do is change the setting above it to the value you want to be set and ta! da! it works!

Since it doesn't seem right now that i'll be able to get a couple hours with puggy to go through Hyper-modeing on the world itself I'll start a list of changes here.
The generators produce 2000 energy can. from the current amount of coolant and empty can.
Power plants will use a load of 7500 energy cans to produce 2500 vehicle fuel and 1500 building power.
Lumber yards produce 200 lumber from current tree and bp amounts.
Water pumps produce either 1000 or 2000 water from current materials.
Rocks are produced at higher output to input ratio as well although I can't remember amount. I don't believe it could have been more than 1000, actaully probably less than that.
Iron ore from the mines was made in loads of 1000 or 2000.
Empty canisters could be produced for a cost of less than 1d a piece even with no employees.
Chemical B was produced cheap enough to be sold for 3d profitably.
Coolant could be produced from far less Chemical B. A single load of 100 chemical B could make enough coolant to last me a few runs to and from the generators as I recall.
Bill Boards could make the 5 techkits for 50 energy canisters a rate of a load every 30 seconds and not the one minute its currently listed at.
(If anyone can remember more specifically some of the changes that were implemented or notices any errors in what I have so far written, please let me know)
