Problem

Ok when I got on my comp I tried playing the universal but it says no ID found are somthing like that. So I uninstalled the universal and re installed it and it works BUT it comes up with that menu that you have to fill out when you first start playing choosing your nickname and what not so im wondering if there is anyway I can log in to my JasonX account?

I've also re-installed the Universal a few times since i've had it and no, there is no way to have the same data as before as far as I know, however, you can still use the same nickname. Perhaps Mit or somone can help you recover lost data in the re-install.

Ok I can use the same nickname now it says (Galaxy connecton failed your password did not mtach the one registerd on the galaxy server) Ok so dose this mean I still use the same account I just need to remember the password if so I cant remeber it because I entered it a long time ago and the forgot password? opition is unselectable.

if you have to reinstall the game, yes, you can just as easily reuse your account.
its as simple as retyping the account name, password, andcharacter into the boxes.

actually, if you don't use the same account again, you'll end up with multies in the galaxy possibly preventing you from logging in complelty, or multies on worlds preventing you from making any money at all, and the old character on the worlds would get lost.

There's a work-in-progress system to email password reminders, but... as far as I know it doesn't work yet. All I can do is wipe it.

DON'T FORGET YOUR PASSWORD.

keep a backup copy of the tractor.cfx file (its only 1k so doesnt take much room) if you need to re-install the game the just copy that file back to the game root directory and it will not need you to input your username and password again.

you can still play jason.

its just that since you got your gal account wiped and chose a different password, its different from the one on zoric and other worlds. its an easy thing to fix.
just gotta get a sysop on each world to clear your password so the character will accept the new one.

you should now be able to get into zoric, sabrada, and planitia.

What folder do I look in to find A-tractor.cfx?

tractor.cfx is in the client root folder and should be in the same folder as universal.exe

not a-tractor.cfx,tractor.cfx
Normaly in:

C:\Program Files\TheUniversal\Clients

Unless you store your Program Files somewhere other than C:

lol, he said keep a backup copy of it somewhere. not drag it onto the game
