Why does he have better icons on the top left-hand corner? We're running the same version, 0.46.3.
Looks Different
thats odd, finalsoul.. Theres only 2 reasons i can think of why that would happen..
1) the icon graphic file has been corrputed. You could try re-installing the full install or alternatively just try getting a new version of the icons image file. ( http://gameislands.net/icons.bmp - copy this into your Clients/Data/Textures folder )
2) Theres some small, weird incompatability with your vid card and directX 8.0. Checking for driver updates (or a driver that specifically says its DirectX 8.0 compatable) might help.

It's like this every time I install. It doesn't work in windowed mode either, and I'm using 1024x768. I have DirectX 9.0c. It still doesn't work, even after I just replaced the existing image with the new image which is the same size.Mit wrote:thats odd, finalsoul.. most of the pics i took on http://www.atractorguide.com were taken useing a little program called ATScreenThief.keshan wrote:Orrrr you could paste it into mspaint. Yup I'm leet.
its a free simple program that you can set up to take and save screenshots with a shortcut key (i used shift+c). see something nice, hit the short-cut key, the pic is taken and automatically saved on your hard drive as a .bmp picture.
handy for when lots of stuff is happening (like fighting), you can drive around taking tons of pics, then sort threw them and delete the ones you don't like.
