is there anyway that i can login with my character from another computor, as i go to my friends house sometimes and i want to show him stuff but i cant use my username and pass to login, am i doing something wrong?

any help would be appreciated

shouldnt be a problem if you use exactly the same username and password - unless your friend has an account already created too.. in that case you'll have to just use your friend's account.

ok ty and i got another question, my friend has 2 computors and he made an account on one of them, if i go into my account on the other will that be a multi? or its ok as long as i dont talk to him or something like that?

Hum.. How about this scenario ..

1 person has 2 accounts .. one on one pc and another on a 2nd pc... and say they go to a 'team' based world like, Roja perhaps, with one account on say team 1 .. and the other on say team 3.. and then they play both teams .. maybe even cap thier own bldgs.. or let a friend cap them if was an IP check.. and sell stuff for lots of S or something? Maybe they could even like change their nick along the way so they could deny they been on or using the 2nd account if they needed to.

Would that be like cheating or something?

You brought up a good point. Yes , this would be cheating. I don't know how The Univesal "Autheticates" one player from another. (Telling it might start an exploitation of sorts) I've got a feeling that it has to do with the tractor.cfx file.

The game has various checks based on IP ranges as well the ID of the pc, so assuming they're on the same net connection most cheats like that are locked out from trading with each other at least. With 2 net connections its obviously not hard to get round, and theres limits to what we can do to completely counter that.

Sometimes its recognisable from the server logs when people are doing dodgy trades etc, so a good world owner will keep an eye on suspicious players like that. Various other bits of log information can help track a players true identity if neccessary.

Primarily though, for a world to be as secure as possible against abuse, the owner must take these limitations into account when designing & building their world.
Places with low or zero start cash will generally be less susceptible to this sort of abuse and the use or non-use of various world settings can help make a place more or less secure.
Using similar principles, the setup for the gal economy is done in a way that limits the potential for abuse by creating multiple characters.

thats nothing new. 90% of people whop have a "brother that plays" is lying about it and its really thier multi.

as for not being able to combine the stuff, thats good.
that means the games multi abuse security is working greatly.
