The restriction is 59KB.
Now I have a few low quality pictures that are more than that.
I have seen some of the other user's avatars, and they are far more complex than
my low quality pictures.
How did they get them?
Off of a site?
I think the restriction should be 300KB, but I know that you need to conserve space.
I can always hope though.

Resizing.

Just take a picture,target an item then copy it into a new file and if it's really big,do some resizing. (Paint anyone?)

oor you can be really lazy and download some avatar and save it as a .JPG. (Paint Strikes Again!)
