mech battles, that kinda thing. more vehicles and weapons and any necessary bugfixes will wind up being added later.

not enough cash? i can up the buy price on oil if need be.


if by a lot of players you mean "more than one", then yeah, it needs more than one player :P


i've already made all weapons free though. you can practically buy every vehicle on the world right from start cash...i'm not really sure what you desire that you can't have with a few dozen transfers, including the super extra expert items?

errr....
About Reine.. if u get killed u lose 550s rather then the 50s it says the other person gained so i'm at 0s ... having the ability to do nothing since even newbs can buy a nice uber vehicle and annihiliate my soldier

and the cuplinks are all destoryed but for both teams it says 0/3 triggers activated... so the game is stuck :O

mm. yeah there were two separate reward modes at work there. fixed.
i removed the triggers the way they were since that was just a bit buggy.

here's what we've replaced it with:

the powercore is now the only trigger building, located north of the generator (fyi the generator materials are now accessed by the little terminal next to the gen, for consistency)

activating the powercore makes you the boss. as long as you aren't killed by another player, you make 50s every minute (max 5000s).

purchasing weapons other than sarge's again require cash, but crude oil sells for 1d, which means a 1s profit per unit.

game resets every 20 minutes

it's 90 now.

though there's some odd respawning thing happening at the moment that i've got to get mit to have a look at. anytime someone joins or changes vehicles, everyone respawns.

I think that Reina Roja or mechzone should switch with Reine Blanche... Roja can confuse the newer folks and mech is just... ugly...

Also... it says in the guide many things... but there isn't a fence... and the bases are west and east...

Also, it is REALLY simple to get to the other base on foot... hell.. without noticing I went to and from team 1 and 2's bases in a few minutes...

The guide thing in the game says that the two bases are far apart seperated by water and covered over by a land bridge... With a electircal fence.

There isn't a land bringe and no fence, and it is very quickto go back and forth...


Also, team 1 kin access team 2's buildings and vice versa.

oh that's the guide from reine 3, heh. i didn't write a guide for this one cause i figured it was pretty simple :P

It seems good... but because the oil doesn't deplete fast its hard to get money... And being that the map is -so- short base wise the transports aren't worth it... or any plane for that matter.

Mines are also WAY to over powered... GK could spit out a huge barrier of mines... one mine kills ye mech and one kills ye druid...

i figured the planes were fun maybe just to fly about. though really they're the thing preventing me from havin' cool jetpacks on the mechs, so i could always swap those out for some boats.

they were transports earlier on when you had to get to that other end across some water....not much point now though, aye.

i think it's the splash damage that really fecks things up there. i'll have to slow the delay on those mines and make 'em more expensive, since doin anything else would require a rewrite of most of the weapons.

Maybe change the map a big.... have 1 & 2 be team blarg's bases and build 3 & 4 for other team blarg... with quite a bit of water inbetween...

Maybe have the mechs have jumpjets... Light ones atleast... and it would be nice to have boats as well... I wanna battleship...

why four bases? there's not enough players to warrant four i wouldn't think, not for now anyway.

mm, whats the reasoning there? technical or gamedesign?

theres a new jumpjet 'weapon' added to the next client btw, workin on similar principle to the afterburner/rockets used on iridis and mechzone


it was mostly a gravity issue, since jetpack doesn't have a height limit.


i just upped the grav to make the jets appropriate, but then modified the planes to cope with the high grav.

in a way it worked out rather nicely: the bomber feels nice n' heavy now :]

reine and roja are both back up.

i made significant upgrades to the network, including tossing my 9 year old router, so there's a good chance the servers will be ten times more responsive, and all that "random kick you out" crap of yesteryear will be done with.


on the other hand it might still be fecked :]
