about multi connections:
it is easily possible to open more then one client and connect to different islands (and always has been). but sometimes it wont work if the iuslands your connecting to aren't on the same gateway.

about scarmers (scammers?)
always scammers, every game has scammers, if you teach him and show your friend whats good and not, then he wont fall victim to a scam, and if scammed, then don't trust that player, if you don't trust the one that scammed you and don't buy/sell with him, he wont be able to scam you again. "fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me"

Launch home:
just read the other topic about it

user groups:
only the top forum administrator can create user groups. which is mit, i believe device also has the power to create and manage user groups.
no, you can't be on staff, for 1, its easily visible from the tons of topics you started you don't even know how to set up an island or do other little things (like read the topic saying "Launch Home?" instead of making one about it)
