without being disrespectful this is not really the place to answer blender specific questions...

Most of our models aren't created with Blender, and therefore the community here probably doesnt have the greatest knowledge in the world regarding it....

i quickly googled for you and maybe you would be better off posting here ....

http://www.elysiun.com/forum/index.php

which has a blener specific support forum

true but to keep life simple (as if we ever do) the model convertor can only handle .x files and .3ds files so in real terms whatever program you use needs to export those files or there is a convertor available

anim8or is nice. i haven't quite figured out how to uvmap with it yet though :P
so i always export to .obj and use a lil program called UVMapper to map the models, then re-import to animator and export to .3ds for the game

before you can texture a model, you have to map it

mapping is basicly saying what part of the model uses what part of the texture.
without mapping, a model wont diplay any texture and will probably appear to be the color of the top left pixle of whatever texture its useing when used in-game.

fooli could explain it alot better :P

hi, to answer your origanl question...once you have created an object, press <TAB> to exit edit mode, then CTRL-N i think to brink up # editor can use the scale command,if u look on the blender website at the 2nd tatorial link (i think) it should send u to a place with 3 pdf file, they very good...def worth having if u going to use blender.

And bout what progs i use: used Milkshape...best for simple things, think all my models iv submitted were made in it.
3d Max... gr8 but expect to take a few days to learn how to use it (my favourate)
Blender seems good, have really used it much, i think if u get the scripting part of it to work well it could be ace.
Hope that helps
