reina roja - hypermode
reina roja - hypermode
nearly all base materials on roja have now been converted to produce 10 to 100 times their normal production yeild.
this shouldn't affect any one individual, since it's only the very bottommost rung of industry, and it's blind to any particular field. everyone should immediately benefit simply from having greater bounty per production cycle.
most buildings and vehicles should become fairly easily attainable, which i'm hoping should bring us into some full on battlemode scenarios.
congrats to those who've stuck it out the first four, horrifically challenging winter months: spring's here, let's celebrate with some blasting :]
edit: the server's also now upgraded to 1.43.8, so if you were having problems logging in before, you should be all set.

anyways.. BP production is still 100.... so it actualyl takes longer to make BP
and FUEL capacity needs to be increased GREATELY or seperated from BP as only the plant owners can empty fuel out ... and since u need to have space for fuel to produce bp...
also the capacity for diamonds and drill bits in the chems plant has been reduced so iron can't be made full stop.... and yeah.. i think thats it
anyways.. enough of the evilness stuff.time for suggestions .. how bout increasing capacities to help beat decay.. or lower the rate of decay so its more of an overnight thing rather then several minutes

its the other way aroundJasonX wrote:You cant play if you have 1.38 i dont think then how did you still renia roja on 1.38
a new client can log into an old server with little troubles. the client will have extra stuff, but will ignore it.
an old client can't log into a new server though. the client wont know what to do with all the extra stuff it gets from the server
Anychance that once you've sorted these little problems you could reset reina? I know it's supposed to last until feb 06, but it is a bit messed up right now with loads of unused buildings, a lack of players (team 2 seems to be totally dead) and quite a bit of boredom.
If the world was reset it may encourage a lot more new player's to join, would also mean there was a, lot more to do, building wise which means there's more chance of someone being on when a new player arrives and thus more chance of them staying.
*waits to be attacked by a load of team 3 player's as it's really the only active team

the prod increase should help you guys get whatever you want pretty quickly, so seein' as no one ever advanced past getting a steel plant, there's prolly still a bit more to do, yeah? once you guys start warring, a lot of buildings will get demo'd i reckon.
i did notice a lot of jehowned stuff in eastern plains though. hopefully that gets bought up at some point.
How bout [overall game suggestion] a galaxy usage check where... if the player hasn't been playing for long enough they're denied access to reina roja?
cause recently alls I see in terms of new players is land on reina, buy buildings leave, never come back.. sometimes it delays stuff as they buy important buildings that the owner loss due to ... unable to access internet...ism for one reason or another.

that sees a little harsh, but what about a world setting where a player needs to log in X game hours before they can own a building?
it does kind of defeat the challenge / point though i s'pose. the idea is that we want newbies invested, and that they'll have a reason to come back because they own something and feel like they're doing well. hence the whole "few days and you're jehowned" thing, so the folks that don't come back don't do too much damage.

eh
newbies don't come back..
how bout [will need some changes] when u log on... after everythings loaded rather then a team screen it pops up a help thing detailing BP and water and stuff... and stuff... to proceed they have to scroll to bottom or a timer set... then when they're finished hey can choose a team

I think part of the reason new players aren't coming back is they're being camped by greifers from the get go, sometimes regardless of whether their an enemy or on the same team.
Only thing that's doing is adding to the advanced players Kills and decreasing the chance of new players becoming established on the world.
(Takes little skill to nuke a 'noob' when all he's got to fight back with is a pair of sandals.)
Any chance an 'invunerable' mode could be setup based on 0-??? hours of usage or (?) ? Maybe that would help keep people from being run off the planet before they even had time to read the FAQ & World Notes.
Another thing that could help would be server dictated team selection in order to help balance the number of ACTIVE' players between teams. As it stands team X is'stacked', both in active player count and advanced technolgy, and running 'noobs' that join Y or Z, and even X :/, off the world. Thusly perpetuating the situation with the end result being they're building for a 'war ' that will never happen as the other teams are stagnating.
(Course that would only work if the afore mentioned situation was rectified I suppose)
The worlds concept has cool potential with total domination' being the end result. However in 1/3 of the games length a select few have succeeded in manipulating the worlds dynamics, & player base, in such a way that the odds of a real 'fight' remain slim to none. Clearly you can't control players mindsets, but maybe is ways you can control how it affects new players and presently crippled teams.
Ok off my soap box. I have no idea what the capability of the world software is but things coming to mind that may help make it more enjoyable for 'the MASSES' would be:
1) Anti Griefing logic of some sort
2) Team member balancing logic
3) Possible 'help from above' for the crippled teams. bringing the world back into some sort of balance. (team based *economy or bldg. production perameters)
BTW .. I'm on team X so this isn't someone whining that 'some one set up us the bomb'. Just trying to see if is ways to let the 'world' reach it's true protential and then see who the truely 'Uber' players are.

On the Fuel issue.
Maybe I'm missing something but wouldn't making and using vehicles create a demand for the fuel? Players having vehicles would need to buy Fuel, so Bldg. owners wouldnt need to worry about stocking it or it being tied to, and limiting, BP production.
If that's the case I believe Fuel Bldgs. may be working as intended. The real issue being vehicle availability and usage. If access to vehicles is purposely restricted then the demand for fuel remains low and ends up impacting BP production.
Rather than adjusting Blg specs the solution would seem to be simply create a demand for the product, i.e. make and SELL vehicles. Heck even an Exell station on Sabrada knows you need vehicles to buy it's product .. that's why it makes Mini's.
If I'm even close on this .. the problem isn't in the Bldg. Specs it's the limited, player controlled, access to vechicles, remove that and it's solved. Why change world dynamics to conform to player created situations let the players sort it out and fix their own problems.
IMO is a simple fix .. Ubah Vehicle 1 Sell = XXXS ... instead of 0d.
