Firstly, way to go people - hijack a perfectly good thread and make it about your own silly issues. Well done.

Secondly, age in itself is not a significant part of world ownership. However, experience and suitability - maturity, if you like - are.

Thirdly, you can't buy a world at the moment. Getting one depends on the second point above and on the dev team's ability to support the introduction of new worlds. Most people won't get one, simple as that - we don't have the resources to support you at the moment.

Fourthly, keep on modellin' even if you don't get a world :)

good points fooli.

except, during an in-game discussion:
"socom> my world ap said it was denied because i am only 17"

so you can't exactly say age isen't a factor.

you diden't say that?

bah, you know what? screw it.
nobody wants to listen to me anyway.
i know somebody said they were 17 and got denied a world because they were 17, and was asking me what i thought of it. thats what i remember seeing.

but you know what, vdz wants to go around acting like he knows all about world hosting and telling people that age doesen't matter while somebody else is complaining to me that they got denied a world because they are only 17, well then fine, i'll just ignore it all and redirect anybody else that gets denied a world due to thier age to vdz

actually, i am still pretty calm :P

when i'm pansy, i go into a 1-2 page rant bringing up tons of stuff that has the slightist relation to the discussion :P

me and vdz go a long ways back. he's hated my guts ever since i closed down an island he liked long ago (year(s) maybe?). since then, he seems to go against nearly anything i say just for the sake of argueing with me.

no world apps have been 'denied'.
As fooli said, most of em we havent done anything with yet, because we really dont have the time to help out new world owners with all the stuff they need help with. Additionally, i dont want to create too many worlds and end up spreading a relatively small playerbase even thinner.

Ultimately, the aim would be to get to a point where all those people who've applied (irrespective of their suitability or quantity - as the game would be suited to cope with that), would be able to get a world.. at least as a trial. All those who've applied in the past will be considered as these sorta things advance.

The chances of someone getting a planet now are next to none. You might be able to get one if you simply donate 100$
