The planes are too hard to land on Sabrada
It's possible but very, very difficult to land a plane on sabrada. (the ones i've tried are biplane and v12 bomber). Many people have proudly boasted that they are actually easy to land but then they try to demonstrate how easy it is and crash. I realise the temptation will be to say, 'I'm great, i find the planes easy to land because i'm so skillful and not a noob in any way'. But does anyone agree that the planes need to be made easier to land?
Once again, I have seen it done so i know it's possible. But everyone who boasts about how easy it is to land a plane can never demonstrate this, they keep crashing. Please try not to let your ego get in the way if replying...

I've heard some other people saying that they find it almost impossible to land a plane without exploding. Even with an appropriate vertical speed. Maybe The margin for error could be broadened to maybe between -50 and +50 and not needing to be so flat. I don't know how it would be done but they need to be made easier to land.
People on Sabrada say the same thing, 'It's easy to land a plane, just watch me'. So i do, and they crash, alot. More often than they land infact. If only more people were able to be honest and say, 'They're actually pretty hard to land without exploding, maybe this could be fixed'. Then we'd all be able to use planes on Sabrada without being frequently blown to bits making the journey pointless because you then spawn somewhere else.
i find it easy. just because i or others crash doesen't mean we find it hard to do and are lying. why would you think people would lie to you? you think people actually have a reason to lie to you or something? you actually think if people hated it they'd not say that it neded to be fixxed?
it is easy to land a plane. all you need to do is have patience.
hit delete to lower your throttle until your flying slowly. then point up/down to slowly descend. keep vsi at -10 and wait until you touch the ground then hit delete to stop. do ONLY that and EXACTLY that and you should land perfectly every time.
people crash alot because they don't just slowly descend from 200 feet slowly coasting accross the island, then turning around and repeating it until they touch the ground or going back up and finding another spot. people will usually descend quickly and then pull up to slow the descent and accidently touch the ground in the process. or will have the throttle all the way up trying to land fast instead of being patient, and will be trying to use the up/down to touch down, but since thier flying fast will touch down too fast due to the speed. then after touching down, you have to keep from bouncing back up so either have to keep the up arrow down, or hit delete to lower your speed some more. its also easy to acidently take off again if driving fast and then hit the up arrow to get back down and crash right away.
another reason people crash is because they don't just use a plane to fly from point a to point b. they use it to try and do loops etc in the air. i often use a plane to try and fly U shapes seeing how close i can get to the ground without touching it. on hilly islands i would use one to fly along the ground, in and out of the vallys trying to follow the landscape and swooping down seeing how close i could get to the ground in between the hills.
*me fixes an up/down mixup

Yes i do. Nobody will post, 'I find it hard to land a plane too'. Because they don't want to look like a noob. It that simple. They're just to proud to say it. They say it to me during the game. But on the forum it becomes a different matter. I promise you there are many many people who find it too hard to land the planes. Getting them to say it here will be almost impossible because they're just too embarrased to say they find it hard.
'Im no noob, of course it's easy to land a plane' - Bullshit.
Maybe you and others find it easy but there are alot of people who evidently don't.

Well my 30% success rate is 30% more than you'll ever accomplish, mahahahahaha. Anyways, do what every other poor sap has done here forever with these planes, PRACTICE! And don't whine the first time you pile drive into the ground, you know, it doesn't even help whining when you've pile drived 500 times into the ground. I stick to my original post saying "practice makes perfect". so nyeh
alot have trouble? i can't say i've seen many people besides new flyers complaining about it.
its all in the way you try to land.
like i said in the last post:

I agree with you entirely. Except for your initial assumption of course. Never construct an argument based on an assumption. I agree for example that practice makes perfect. We also agree that you're far from it. There's no disagreement here.GK8000 wrote:Well my 30% success rate is 30% more than you'll ever accomplish, mahahahahaha. Sry for double post, didn't know how to edit a quote into a post.
for those just starting out flying...u can start with a plane arrow or biplane, they have pretty reasonable speeds that might make u more experienced at landing....u honestly dun expect to drive an interceptor and land safely while it's travelling at 250mph?
btw ppl,i have a plane shop in apocalicity which was once on sale...thx blackburn for all ur (indirect) help......cheapest planes in stock lolz...
