Well yeah, probably know known already.
Anways, when the owner of a building dies, Jehovah. keeps paying his wage.
This is bad when it's about family jobs. Family members are usually active players and don't die, but there's always the chance. The point is: you can employ somebody for 50s, then *suicide. Or you can invest money into jeh building, set the prices real cheap and *suicide, then buy everything it's got.
Probably works (well Kim abused this bug back in .01 ) by renting a jeh building too (you don't have to die).
Hopefully you understood my point
Players keep jobs at jehovah buildings (Status: TBI)
never heard of that being abused.
don't really see how its abusable either.
would be no benifit from investing a building, employing somebody, then *suiciding. you'd only lose all owned buildings, the money invested, but not gain anything. jehovah buildings don't get invested by the gov or anything, so besides buying the items in it, it'd have no other way of gaining money.
*suiciding after setting the items to sell cheap would work to get all the items if it was a store, but for mana and pro buildings, the items could just be unstocked and the building could be sold, either way, the player would still lose all of thier other buildings. if the building is just unwanted, it could just be demolished or sold for 1s, which woulden't really gain anything, but not lose anything either.
...besides that, last i saw, renting jehovah buildings caused bugs.
only real way i can see it abusable is if the player learns a skill, builds some stuff, then suicides and asks for a reset then rebuys it at the cheaper price. but, thats why its good to monitor how many times players get reset and by what gods on the island.
unless i just don't understand your point

No use to the *suicider, true, but the emplyee would still keep getting paid. As wages aint taken from invested money anymore, one could work for jehovah till somebody buys the building.zaroba wrote:never heard of that being abused.

Try this, I havent tried it though, so I dunno if it works:
Buy a building.
Set the wage to max (50s, 100s, whatever)
*suicide
Get the required skill
Go work for jehovah.
