today on Expedition TU, the zorician scientists head out towards the lost planet of Zion which was said to have reappeared in the Cirrus Minor system of the galaxy. As we went to its former location, we found that it was in fact planet zion, which had vanished decades ago, had reappeared.
Our approach to the recently rediscovered planet went without issue, as did our landing. Once we landed we found remnants of a long vanished society. all over were the former remnants of a once thriving economy. we took pictures of many of the artifacts in hopes that the scientists back on planet Zoric could figure out what the structures were used for.
here we see what appears to be a small village built around a stone statue of some type, possibly a religious figure as these small statues are all over the land.
over here beside a hill, we can see abandoned factories. oddly many of these factories still had goods and cash in them, as if there owners simply vanished. two of the factories even had ancient flying machines and vehicles in it. there seems to be some type of area next to the village as well.
here we see another picture of the arena with large stepped structures and blank plaques. our scientists have yet to discover its use but are certain it was for some type of competition sport that was played by its ancient citizens for amusement and to match skills.
over by some temples we have found a giant statue that the smaller ones seem to have been made after. Our scientists believe that the ancient citizens worshiped Mits as a god and built these stone statues all over the land in a show of honer. Here they even built small temples near it where knowledge could be learnt
here we see a course of some type. perhaps it was used to train soldiers on like an obstacle course? although our scientists may never know the answer, the search for the elusive mit shall go on.
up in the hills of planet zion we have found several abandoned temples. perhaps the leftovers of a large temple that once stood in honer of the Mit the citizens worshiped.
over towards a colder, barren part of the planet we find abandoned mining equipment. this past society was obviously technically advanced.
here we see another village. there is the leftovers of a zoo. only one cage remains and it contains a perfectly preserved Mit inside of it. in the distance a large gate can also be seen. perhaps it was the entrance to the zoo. there is a hut with fish remains next to a pond as well.
after a long period of searching, the scientists were about to give up when one of them heard a noise. they followed it and were amazed at what they saw. they managed to find the last remaining Mit on the planet. this discovery of a living Mit is biggest discovery since the planet vanished ages ago. Here the Mit sits relaxing in the grass behind a building named in his honor. one of the scientists was even able to get close to it in a hover trans that was found in a factory by the arena.

heh.the sheeple rejoice in their great obamanation
Anyways.. nice discovery, I see the people of zoric have grown smart enough in the last 50 years to not only get out of their atmosphere, but to also to make the travel between such a great distance from zoric to zion. It is quite a remarkable feat, seeing as it took other races(stimutac's race in particular) more than 5 times as long just to land on their moon. It took the xebecians 300 years from the point they made their first flying machines to the point they landed on their moon(and another 50 to make it to the next planet in their solar system)
