How do I edit the terrain of my world?

Hello, finally go my world connected, yaaay!

But im gonna need some help ^_^' if you want to help in-game please come to Opportunity via inflimp.

So, I just got into the world, and I have the basic flat square of map. How do I make it a bit larger and edit it with like, hills and oceans and ponds?

Oh, and, I think i know were to do it, I jsut dont really get how.

u need to make a new heightmap in a paint program like photoshop or MS paint.

its a 256x256 pixel grayscale image(white for the tip tops of the mountains, black for the lowest areas under your ocean) thats uploaded into the maps folder.
then go into your client window and choose "terrain" under tools

then there will be a box for your heightmap, click on the button next to it to go into the maps file where your new heightmap should be and click on it to upload a new heightmap.

READ THE ENTIRE WORLD MANUAL AND ALL THE DESCRIPTIONS IN *SETTINGS BEFORE POSTING FURTHER!!!

as for your landscape scale it can be changed in *settings>landscape settings>landscape scale or something.[/b]

Im sorry, iv been trying, but I cant get to that list, world isnt recognizing me yet as i said.
