When you run your world, it connects to the Galaxy server and is automatically assigned to a free planet, somewhere in the galaxy. It stays there as long as you keep the world server program running, and in fact it stays there for a while afterwards too.
Eventually, if the server hasn't been online for a while, the galaxy will remove the link between your world and that particular planet in the galaxy (and when you run the world server again, it'll assign it to a planet somewhere else).
In your case, Opportunity was assignd to a planet in M25, one of the starting systems. It's still there - you can InfImp to it.
When your world server is running, you can connect to your planet in two ways:
- first, if you have installed the world to the correct folder (that being the same folder your game is in), when you run the game client you should see a "Your world" option on the start screen. Select that, and you'll enter your world.
- or, you can navigate to your world in space (using your InfImp drive, or just normal stardriving etc) and simply fly into it.
If you're having trouble actually landing on your world using either of those methods, then some troubleshooting is required. Check the world owner's manual or one of several forum posts here for more information (
search the forums...)
