can all vehicles can use all of the weapons?

or does each vehicle come with a set weapon? cause i made a vehicle, then granted myself a weapon and turned the fighting settings on, and i couldnt use the weapon. i also didnt see the weapon in my inventory.
did i miss a setting or does each vehicle have to have a weapon set with it?
cause i was hoping to have players be able to buy different weapons at blacksmiths and be able to use them no matter what vehicle they were in.

Read the weapons stuff in the world owner's manual... there's a lengthy and boring description of the whole thing :)
Relevant bit here is:

3. How people on your world are allowed to use weapons.
You have two options. You can make the weapons people can use depend on the vehicle they are currently in. Or, you can let anyone use any weapon as long as they own the relevant weapon ammo. This is determined by a global World Setting called Weapon Selection Mode, and is set in the usual way through the settings menu (type *settings, choose World Settings, and scroll down to Weapon Selection Mode).
If you set it to 0, the weapons a player can use will depend on which vehicle they are in.
If you set it to 1, players will be able to use any weapon item that is currently in their inventory.

ok i think its becoming clear now. also, the weapons werent showing up in my inventory because it seemed to be full of vehicles (even though my inventory showed 0% full) so i discarded some items and now i am seeing the weaps in my inventory. ill do some more tweaking in the weapons script and it should get it working. thanks.

yes, it doesnt work as zar helped me confirm. when i try to choose a weapon all i can do is discard it. when i try to fire a weapon the model doesnt display. tried everything, tweaked the gamemts file. messed with the settings, set the graphic, uploaded a model in the models selector. *refreshweap.. nothing
according to zar, he and bong were trying to get it to work and they had no luck either, so as far as i can tell, the only way to make weapons work is to have the setting where each vehicle has a weapon set to it.
