I bought a some extra lasers and shields on Kryn'********** sorry cant remember how to spell it and noticed later in my inventory that I only have 1 shield and 1 laser

Sorry, but you can onlyuse one shield and that one shield is permanent, you don't have to buy more, if it gets disabled by missiles it will restore itself after a few minutes, the shield is permanent, you can't loose it unless you sell it.
About the lasers, there are three tipes of lasers:
- Standard Lasers = Newbie like
- Pulse Lasers = Intermidiate
- Phasers = Elite, most damage.
Of course the standard lasers are the ones you start with and are the cheapest, the pulse lasers are more expensive and the phasers are even more expensive wich usually cost around 100k cr. Of course this lasers are permanent like the shields unless you exit the game or enter a planet while under red alert and nothing else can be taken away ( bounty or cargo) so the lasers are taken away and then you can buy new ones. But only then, only after loosing this lasers you can buy new ones, if you do this before this it's worthless.
Of course lasers are replaced if you change the existing type, like if you have standdarn then buy pulse, then you current lasers will change to pulse same vice cersa and phasers.
