Recently Atrophaxian archaeologists have unearthed evidence that its ancient peoples had held a special reverence for robocrow technology as several ornamental crow units have been recovered from a dig site. These gold plated wonders have opened up an entirly new chapter in the history of ancient alien cultures.



I'm having some difficulties getting some of the seams to match up, which means it's taking longer to finish than I've hoped. Seriously, I've just spent the last 6 hours on this,... ~sigh pant cough gag vomit~

Well I did warn you :) The old crow models all need rebuilding and remapping. On the plus side, they're generally seen from a fair distance away and they generally move quite fast (being crows...) so I wouldn't worry too much about getting it perfect, if I were you. If you really like/want to use this model I'll have a go at remapping it for ya.

I'm just trying to expand the amount of textures available for the default robocrow model. Can't say I'm too concerned about a remap. Just figured I would show off the fruit of my evening.

you could probably also make red, blue, yellow, green, orange, etc copies of that texture by changing the color filters of the texture.

If I did anything like that then I would only make bronze, silver, and gold. Anything else would just look tacky.

Then I will make a dark gothic texture for the bug. (I kinda planned on it eventually anyhow.) The gold bug texture above is made to be metallic.
