I am not sure if this is ine the right spot but here it goes. I was wondering if there were a linux client.tried using wine but shows no picture, but might be my system setup.If not ill try wine agian next mounth

I believe there are people who've got it working under Windows emulation in Linux, but it's really not a good idea: anything could happen, and its totally unsupported by us. We offer a Linux world server, thanks to DeVice, but he hasn't updated it in a while so it's a fair bit behind the latest release.

We'd like to support Linux in the client (in fact the game's written in a modular way, in order to make porting easier) but we don't have enough time to do everything we'd like on one platform, let alone two... in the case of Linux, it'd mean changing the 3d engine over to OpenGL, which is quite a significant task as you might imagine.

You'd also have to create patches to be compatiable with both Windows and linux everytime, which means double the work.. please correct me if I am wrong..
