what is fightnight?

I really have no idea what this is. Is there a wiki I can look at or if not someone please explain this so called fightnight. Team oriented or what?

its basicly a free event that you can goto and fight with other players without having to worry about bountys etc and you can sometimes win prizes.

It's especially good for new players, since they can gain experience in fighting and learn some new manouvers and tricks.

wait when you say free event do you mean that TU isnt free but there is actualley a payable version just like the EVIL PEOPLE that made Runescape!!??!?!?!?!

I wil be very diapointed to learn that this awsome game must be payed to get the full feeling out of it

No TU does not cost a single cent. There also isnt any fancy shmancy premium stuff, TU is absolutely free of any charge.

I think by free zaroba meant that anyone may freely choose if he wants to attend fight night or not.

Actually I think he meant you don't need any creds to join the fightnight event...

And TU is nearly free of charge...If you want to have an official registered world...and just the typical unregistered world type...there is a small fee...although (whiskey) donations are encouraged...and for I think $10, you can permanently have a star in the galaxy named whatever you want...

yea, its free meaning theres nothing to lose, nothing to gain (unless theres prizes involved) and its open to anybody in any ship that wants to go and blow up other people for fun with no reprecushions. bounty is disabled during it so you can't collect or earn a bounty. shields are often disabled aswell so its easier for younger players to blow up older players in big ships because they wont need to fire missiles and worry about countermeasures or em bursts to take down the shields.

theres also usually a set time at the beginning where only people in smaller ships are allowed to attack and chase the big ships around. that way it wont all be big ships blowing up little ships.
