It isn't, the chat server is down

We should have a special topic and be able to post in it when there is a problem, wouldn't that be easier than posts having it noted in random topics which the mods might not see?

99% of the time, posting a topic wont speed up geting a server online at all.
when 'the mods' see the chat server is down, they will put it up.

if there not home, or not around, or if theres ISP/Power problems causing the server to be down for a while, then they wont even see the topics and will see the server being down shortly after they get home or will know its down if the isp or power was out and will bring it back up.

People, I didnt meen on the game, I know the chat was down on the game. But why on the forum? Here. If you try to pm someone it just says "Privite Messeging disabled on this forum"

i think its disabled because it can't be moderated. there was issues in the past with people writing nasty things to others while in arguements, etc. plus, theres ingame chat, ingame mail, e-mail, aim, icq, msn, etc, etc.

surely its not impossible for you to get ahold of somebody. most peoples posts even have there aim, etc on them.

however, the PM button probably shoulden't be showing since you can't PM people on the forum.
