I have been unable to connect Universal since around midday today ?
I have mot a clue why or if I am on my own . all I know is I can not connect , which has sadened me as I have been on for a few weeks now with little or no trouble

It's either Just One Of Those Things, or Something To Do With Where The Galaxy Is Right Now. If you've been watching the forums recently you'll know that the galaxy was moved at the end of January because the previous host (ie, me) moved house. Since then, it seems that some people have had no issues... others, like me, can't get a connection to stay up for more than a couple of minutes. I guess some people can't connect at all.
Anyway, this is a long and rambling reply to say a) I can connect to the gal fine at the moment, so the galaxy server's definitely running (but the connection fails for me after a couple of minutes) ; and b) the galaxy will be returning to my server in the very near future - maybe even tonight - at which point, well... things may return to normal. Or not.

I have been on universal every day for hours , for the past few weeks , I have a very fast 8 meg broadband connection and cannot why I can not connect yet virtualy every one else can ? particulary since it was working fine earlier today , I even uninstalled and the reinstalled in the hope of getting back in , I am now left in limbo ?
I have had trouble from time to time being unable to "land" on certain planets for some reason ? I put that down to poor individual servers .
is this going to a regular problem ( not being able to connect ) if so then I would rather not put in any more time as there would be no point .
PS I have no problems what so ever with any other sites an have been on the internet for 10+ years
