Wildlife kill reward/loot

I would like for players to hunt wildlife, sheep mostly, and get sheep skins which they turn in to a government building for grades. Similar to trading in monkies for grades on zion.
The thing is I do not know how to set up a "loot drop" for wildlife.
I know its done, on Republic you get "hides" for kills.
How is it done?

I can get you half way there:
- set wildlife AI type to 4
- set player collisions to 2 or 4
I just tested this, and shooting wildlife gave me 1 milk - although the wildlife didn't disappear when shot (using other values for AI made them explode normally, but not give me milk).
I assume milk's the first default item or something (I haven't changed anything on the item side on my world). There may be another setting that lets you choose which item number you get given - it's probably a setting that's 0 by default, so it gives you item 1... but I can't find any reference to which setting that might be (or even if you can choose).
It's a start at least.

um ye wouldnt pay to much attention to that as mit appears to have hard coded that so that the republic can work...
the only workaround at the moment is to set item 4 as the item you want to reward the player with and they will recieve one of those items (again hard coded)

from my experience, all you can do is rename milk to the item of your choice
have been for a while asking for 'wildlife item 1 - 4' per wildlife kill, according to type

Grrr. 4 is already set as Grades... Following Mit's example for the Zion world.
I'll wait until the version where one can have more options for wildlife drops.
I'm patient, very patient.

Ok, good bye to the sheep skin, it was just humor anyway.
Since my Item 4 is already Grades (as like Zion) What I have done is make it to where folk can "hunt" for good grades by hunting wildlife.
And it works.... after about 8 hours of figuring out how to give a decent weapon to vehicle 24......

when you kill them they dont explode, they dissapear after a second or 2 like fooli mentioned.
