Description:
Unless I'm being a chimp...

- unzipping the client patch into the clients directory, as usual, doesn't put bass.dll in the right place: if I then run my unreg world, it complains about a missing file attach handler something or other in bass.dll. If I extract the lib manually to the root folder it works fine

- same problem with my registered world, which lives in a different folder. The exe patch doesn't include the new bass.dll, and without it I get an error running the exe, as above.

wha u mean by "Doesnt put bass.dll in the right place"?
For the client, the "right place" is the clients folder. (The folder the executable is run from is where windows looks for a dll first.. if it doesnt find it there it looks in the windows/system folders)

For the world patches.. yeh, they should have a new bass.dll in the zip too (have updated the zips now). To fix it yourself, copy the new one from the clients folder into the root of your worlds and all should be good.

I mean... the zip puts bass.dll into the clients folder, but if it's there, I get the error when I run my unreg world. If I put bass.dll into the root folder, it works fine. So yeh, if it's now in the world exe patches it oughta be ok.
