Oh Dear......

Well after a few hours playing with the arcade source.... (cant quite keep up wit Mit's 22 mins)
Tractor Snake has arrived {sigh}
screen shot.....
Stuff already working
Score increases
Speed increases
collision detect with walls/whatever it is you collect/and itself
good movement
menus
well as you can see i am able to program ... but i am definitley no artist
so if anyone wants to re-design the sprites for me it would be greatly appreciated
p.s that was meant to be smoke coming out the back of a tractor

Just need todo a few tidy ups to do with variable screen widths which i will do after work tonight...
and finish off commenting code so others can see where its going if they want to look at it.
thought i might throw in a high score bit for it and then its done.
p.s is there any way of getting the current user name into the arcade for recording scores?
so in answer to your question... tommorow
p.p.s whats the best way of releasing this so others can play?

I'll look into added some more features like being able to access user name (and also the other cash access stuff that Legogirl requested) sometime after the next release of the game.
Some of it might be a lil awkward because accessing stuff in the main game from the arcade.dll breaks its modularity somewhat (and coz its a .dll thats often not possible), so it might need a bit of rearranging.

Yay! Sneech here we come :) Looks good. If it were me, to overcome artistic limitations and forget about the whole tractor thing, which is soooo 03 (heh)... why not use the classic tron coloured lines approach?

well i was trying to decide if just to use a basic snake... but its only a bmp so easy to change
will try and make it look a bit better tonight
excellent if we move them away from tractors cos im thinking of doing a bubble bobble clone next and was a bit difficult to tie in .

Before ppl freak out, i only mean that tractors aren't the only focus these days... anything goes, including tractors, giant giraffes, wotever :)
