Question for Mit

Post by SilentAssassin »

Mit, I know it is a longshot, but I was wondering if you could make this new release Open Source
I am trying to learn C++, and still in the early development stages of my game. Of coarse if I used any of your code I would credit you!!

I am not wanting your engine. I would simply like to see how a good game is created! In the complete form.

Thanks,
SA

You could always go and download the Quake source code. A few other games have had their code released as well, if you look around.

But IMO looking will only get you so far, actually doing will get you a lot further. If it's rubbish just have another go and learn from your mistakes.

The game dev websites have some guides on getting started
