A quick recap, as theres a few lil changes since the last time we had this active..
The GPR (Galactic Prestige) system will be back working in the near future (0.49.7).. all registered worlds will have an 'exchange rate' that allows you to exchange kudos or cash you've earnt on the worlds for 'Galactic Prestige'. e.g. Zion, for instance, might give you 5 Galactic Prestige for 1000 sheckles earnt there. (The exchange rate value is up to the world owner).
The amount of prestige you can earn on each planet is limited and reset monthly. (So each world might allow you to earn a maximum of 5 prestige each month) - To stay top of the prestige table you'd have to do well on many registered planets every month.
As well as appearing on the top players scoreboard, having galactic prestige will allow you access to an 'explorers' guild, and will be required to get certain special ships & items in space - therell be other prestige-related features to come in the future..
Assuming no major bugs bite in the meantime, players with the most prestige at the end of the year will be rewarded appropriately.
