Ok first off, I working through a router and have tried to follow the instructions except bit of it does not match the routers settings. It's a DLink router fyi.

I've got a D-Link 604. Type into the address bar : 192.168.0.1
You open up ports under Advanced->Applications.
(If it asks for trigger port and public port,put same numbers)
Set them to TCP.
ex.
Name : World
Trigger port : 5000 - 5000
Trigger Type : TCP
Public Port : 5000
Public Type : TCP

If you state the specific model I could help you more. (D-link has web emulators of their products)

(You don't really need to read this part but if you have a thing like a DSL modem open the ports there too...)

I'll give that a try nd see if it works....looks identical to what is listed for settings under the applications.

I believe the connection is DSL...so far nothing....DI-524 is the model of the router.
