HELP program crashes whenever i try to land on a world

Help...the program keeps crash9ing whenever i try to land on any world like zion or anywhere else...its fine whenever i dock to a station but not when i try to land on a planet...any suggestions

sure the world is up?

make sure it has a ping before trying to land.

If you try to land on a world that isn't online, it's supposed to just chuck you back out into space. Works for me, anyway.

When you say it crashes, could you be more specific: what exactly happens? does it start the login process? print any messages? any error messages?

well i keep tryin it and whenever i try to land the world IS online so i don't get it...the program just closes...before i installed the patch the program came up w/ like a windows xp error dialog thing so yea

do you have the latest directX? Try closing some recourse-consuming programs. Update your video card drivers. Do you notice any erratic behaviour? Like loads of loading when playing the game? You sure your PC is able to play it? Got a decent video card etc?
