for those unaware, you can go to www.gameislands.net and get a-tractor, and access a few planets.
and for somehow, when i dl a-tractor, installed it into the same (default) directory as my univ ersal.... reverted my .3 univ back to .2.... i re-applied the .2 patch and the a-tractor and the univ are back on .2 vers.... on the a-tractor planet list in the display didnt change, but the planets they point to arent whats listed.... The Republic goes to Zion, Sabrada goes to The Republic, Zion goes to Zoric, and Mechzone goes to Ariya.
seems to be pulling a partial FIPRO (destianation IP mainly) info for the A-tractor menu. Who knows.
at least now theres kinda round about way to get where ya wanna be while we are in these times of darkness in the galaxy
Just incase....
Mixing A-Tractor and The Universal gets wierd results like that.
Both A-Tractor and The Universal get planet listing (A-Tractors planet listing is the main menu and The Universal has one with the fipro) from the chat server soo...
If chat server goes boom: No A-Tractor/ Fipro...
(Why does the game rely on such external components beats me)

Hrm. Well, why doesn't the game have a prebuilt list for each release and attempt to update that very list on each try? So if in the case the chat server & the galaxy server goes down again chances are the player has successfuly has a recent list upon first connection of the chat server. A offline list that's updated upon a connection to the chat server.
Though of course I don't have a clue how this stuff works.
