Does this mean when this happens, we're all back to square one again i.e. ships, addons and everything? So if that's the case then there is little point to galactic trading at the moment then?

Galactic reset?
given that the two posts on the homepage which mention this are several months out of date, I was working on the assumption that this had been done already
After all, if it is going to happen, I would hope that those nice universal god-like people would have reminded players of this in the absolutely hunner's of requests for new ships - whats the point of telling us that they are on their way if the whole thing is being reset?
anyway - still determined to conquer the galactic rich list by the end of the week
(my previous suggestion of a month seems to have been wildly exaggerated... - and yes I do have a life )

remeber as a game that is still in development and a pernament state of beta testing... by playing this you all become part of the beta testing process therefore nothing is pointless from thepoint of view from the dev team.
It will be that there is Galaxy resets as signifigant changes happen to the Galaxy code/trading/features... look at it as a new challenge after a reset

I know what you mean, but it's a shame that it's taken so long and so much effort to attain the amount of credits that some of us have to then loose them all. I'm blissfully ignorant as to how these things work, but is it completely impossible to save current players galactic stats and 'reinstall' them after the reset.Magicfinger wrote:remeber as a game that is still in development and a pernament state of beta testing... by playing this you all become part of the beta testing process therefore nothing is pointless from thepoint of view from the dev team.
I saw in one of Fooli's posting a mention about the possibilty of having the stations auto loading stock rather than the gods having to do so. Will this come about in the next stage?Magicfinger wrote:It will be that there is Galaxy resets as signifigant changes happen to the Galaxy code/trading/features... look at it as a new challenge after a reset
Also any clue as to when the reset is happening?

it wouldnt be impossible but the point would be that the changes would create a divide between the people who have traded under a different system say it suddenly became harder to make a profit new people would never have oppurtunity to play on a level playing field.Alphawolfe wrote:[I know what you mean, but it's a shame that it's taken so long and so much effort to attain the amount of credits that some of us have to then loose them all. I never thought of it in that way! You have a very valid point, even though it still saddens me that so many hours have to go waste on my side of things.
As long as our playing benefits the future of the galaxy then I guess that make it a bit better.
