The New Version

I can't get the patch to work correctly.
It says that there are missing files.
It would really be a drag to have to full install the new version.
Before I go and do that, any advice on how to fix this problem?

have you extracted the zip into your 'Clients' folder? (Program Files\TheUniversal\Clients by default)
Have you extracted both the exe and the contents of the accompanying data folder?

Could you tell me what files are being reported as missing just to check i didnt miss anything?

My mistake, I extracted it to the wrong spot, thanks for showing me my error.
One other thing though, is driving around in space meant to be that slow?
Have the controls changed?

check your 'Pilot Guide' in the middle of the screen (the one with the big flashing header which its almost impossible to miss ;] ) when u start up in space..
'Shift' activates the faster ion drive.. 'Help' takes you immediately to high speed (useful for landing quickly on planets)
